Last assembly of 2018 in San Vicente / Asamblea final de 2018

Yesterday, Alfredo Lopez facilitated the last assembly for the scholarship recipients of San Vicente. Besides evaluating the second semester of the year, they created groups in which the attendees (alongside parents or responsible persons) gave their opinions on the positive and negative aspects, things to improve and lessons learned.
Thirteen of the participants are finishing their high school this year. Among them, Franklin Rodriguez from the community Las Anonas (sistered with Philadelphia) and Manuel Ayala from Guajoyo (sistered with Austin).
During the assembly there was also a space to read some of the thanking letters the participants wrote. One of the randomly chosen to do this was Jorge Rodríguez and you can see him reading it at the bottom of this entry.
El día de ayer Alfredo López facilitó la última asamblea de becarias y becarios de San Vicente. Además de evaluar el segundo semestre del año en curso, se hicieron mesas de trabajo para que las y los asistentes (junto a algunos padres o encargados) dieran sus opiniones sobre los aspectos positivos, negativos, aspectos a mejorar y los aprendizajes obtenidos.
Trece de los jóvenes participantes van a terminar su bachillerato este año. Entre ellos, Franklin Rodríguez de la comunidad Las Anonas (hermanada con Philadelphia) y Manuel Ayala, de Guajoyo (Hermanada con Austin).
En el programa también se incluyó la lectura de algunas cartas de agradecimiento. Entre las cuales, estaba la de Jorge Rodríguez que pueden ver a continuación:
