SISTERING

OBJECTIVE:

To fortify solidarity ties with the Salvadoran people by making alliances or accompanying the struggle of the people regarding migration with a lense that includes the impact of climate change and addresses gender and racial inequalities.

Our goals

USESSC accompanies the demands and organizing efforts of the Women’s National Round Table through Organized Salvadorans living in the U.S

USESSC facilitates the sistering relationship among organized communities in ES, CRIPDES and Movimiento mujeres, Ithaca University, Cornell University and WRFI Community Radio in the U.S working for Migration, Dispossession, Racial Injustice, and the Right to Stay.

USESSC sisters with an organization working in the subject of migration, to support their objective and connect with a U.S.- based organization.

USESSC’s remaining committees maintain their historical relationship with their sistered communities following the lead of our partner CRIPDES.

USESSC has strengthened the work with TPS Alliance by supporting their fundraising efforts, having active participation in at least two major events at national level, and by having local USESSC committees more involved with their activities.

The Racial Justice working group interviews a representative of TPS Alliance to showcase the key points of our alliance with them on our social media.
