CRIPDES Sur scholarships / Becas de CRIPDES Sur

On November 22nd, the coordinator team of the Scholarship program of CRIPDES Sur La Libertad carried out the last meeting and disbursement of the scholarship for the fifteen scholarship recipients from different communities of the south area of La Libertad.
During the meeting, the team took time to make a general evaluation with the scholarship recipients about their outcomes of their school year and their involvement in their communities; also, CRIPDES asked for suggestions to improve their work with the students for next year.
The scholarship program is one of the most successful projects that CRIPDES SUR undertakes. This program is being supported by Sister Cities (Crystal Lake- Friends of Chilama, and Binghamton-El Charcon Sister Cities). This current year, 2018 there are fifteen high school scholarship recipients, five of them will be graduating at the beginning of December.
El pasado jueves 22 de noviembre, el equipo de coordinación del programa de becas de CRIPDES SUR La Libertad realizó la última reunión y desembolso de becas a las y los 15 estudiantes de las diferentes comunidades del Sur de la Libertad.
Durante la reunión, se tomó tiempo para hacer una evaluación general sobre el desempeño de los estudiantes tanto en la escuela como en sus comunidades; también CRIPDES pidió sugerencias a los estudiantes sobre el trabajo que realiza con las y los jóvenes becados.
El programa de becas es uno de los programas más exitosos que desarrolla CRIPDES SUR y que está siendo apoyado por Ciudades Hermanas (Crystal Lake- Amigos de Chilama, y Binghamton-El Charcón ciudades Hermanas). En este 2018, Ciudades Hermanas ha apoyado a 15 jóvenes de comunidades rurales para la continuidad de sus estudios de bachillerato, de los cuales 5 se graduaran al inicio del mes de diciembre.
