Midyear review with scholarship recipients / evaluación de medio año del programa de becas en San Vicente

Last thursday, Alfredo Lopez, youth promoter in CRIPDES San Vicente, led another workshop with the beneficiaries of the scholarship program. Since this was the midyear session, they took the opportunity to evaluate the work done so far.
There was a summary of the lessons learned and the promoter asked for feedback from participants and also from the mothers and representatives from the community boards in attendance.
This scholarship program is funded by the Austin and Philadelphia committees and it gives CRIPDES San Vicente a space to develop diffent topics of importance to youth. It also promotes effective participation from the participants in their communities of origin, since this is a requirement to receive the economical support for their transportation and purchase of school materials.
El pasado jueves, Alfredo López, promotor de CRIPDES San Vicente, lideró otro taller con las personas beneficiarias del programa de becas. Por ser la sesión de medio año, se hizo una evaluación de lo realizado en el año 2019 hasta la fecha.
Se hizo mención de los aprendizajes obtenidos y se le pidió tanto a las y los jóvenes participantes que dieran su opinión sobre lo ejecutado, así como también a las madres y representantes de las juntas directivas que se hicieron presentes.
El programa de becas es financiado por los comités de Austin y Filadelfia y le brinda a CRIPDES San Vicente un espacio para abordar diferentes temas de importancia con la juventud, además de promover la participación efectiva de las y los participantes en sus comunidades de origen, al ser esta una condición esencial para recibir el apoyo para su movilización y compra de útiles escolares.
