No to water privatization / No a la privatización del agua

As done in the past, CRIPDES and the staff of Sister Cities joined the rally against water privatization initiatives outside the National Association of Private Companies (ANEP, in Spanish), who is trying to integrate a management body making decisions on water distribution and how much they would charge for it.
ANEP’s current president Luis Cardenal in the past has already been against poor people: he was against rising the minimum wage; but, recently, he has been mentioned as one of those who received over 10,000 dollars a month while working with former president Tony Saca, currently awaiting sentence for corruption charges.
Como ya antes, CRIPDES y el equipo de Ciudades Hermanas se unieron a la protesta contra las iniciativas para privatizar el agua afuera de la Asociación Nacional de la Empresa Privada (ANEP), que pretende integrar un cuerpo regulador que decida sobre la distribución y los costos del agua.
El actual presidente de ANEP, Luis Cardenal, se ha mostrado antes en contra de la gente pobre, al estar en contra de aumentar el salario mínimo; sin embargo, recientemente, ha sido señalado como uno de los que recibió más de 10,000 dólares mensuales como sobresueldos al trabajar con el expresidente Tony Saca, quien actualmente espera sentencia por cargos de corrupción.
