Historic photos from Mesa Grande

Every August, Teosinte commemorates its anniversary of repatriation. During last year’s celebration, they showed some videos and photos showcasing the lives of refugees in the camp of Mesa Grande (Honduras). This, with the purpose of sharing this with new generations and making sure that they don’t forget what those who founded the community had to go through.

Teosinte celebra cada agosto el aniversario de su repoblación. En la celebración del año pasado, presentaron algunos videos y fotografías mostrando cómo era la vida en los campos de refugiados de Mesa Grande (Honduras). Ello con el propósito de que las nuevas generaciones no olviden lo que tuvieron que soportar todas las personas que luego llegaron a fundar la comunidad.
