We are thrilled to receive a delegation with the desire to see the organizational structures and challenges in El Salvador. The delegation is formed by Rabbi Laurie Zimmerman from the Congregation Shaarei Shamayim; Fabiola Hamdan, Immigration Affairs Specialist with the Dane County Department of Human Services, Senator LaTonya Johnson for the 6th District on Milwaukee; Representative Christine Taylor from the 76th Assembly District; Jonathan Solari, from Planned Parenthood; Courtney Nelson, artist and designer and our very own Marc Rosenthal and Barbara Mergen, from the Madison Arcato Sister City Project.
The delegation met today with CRIPDES’ president and vicepresident, Bernardo Belloso and Miriam Ayala and they expect to know more about internal displacement, migration and reproductive rights in El Salvador during their visit.
Nos emociona recibir una delgación con el deseo de conocer las estructuras organizativas y los desafíos en El Salvador. La delegación está conformada por la rabina Laurie Zimmerman de la Congregación Shaarei Shamayim; Fabiola Hamdan, especialista en asuntos migratorios del Departamento de Servicios Sociales del Condado Dane; la senadora LaTonya Johnson del distrito 6 de Milwaukee; la representante Christine Taylor, del Distrito 76; Jonathan Solari, de Planned Parenthood; Courtney Nelson, artista y diseñadora y nuestros queridos Marc Rosenthal y Barbara Mergen, del hermanamiento con Madison.
La delegación se reunió hoy con el presidente y la vicepresidenta de CRIPDES, Bernardo Belloso y Miriam Ayala y esperan conocer más sobre desplazamiento forzoso, migración y derechos reproductivos en El Salvador durante su visita.
