CRIPDES Regional Support, News from Communities

CRIPDES regional in Aguilares, UCRES has also responded to the pandemic. Its team has mobilized to deliver more modest baskets to 1000 families from the communities where they work. This has been funded by ENTRE PUEBLOS, AIETI and UCRES itself.
The president of the regional, Felicia Mijango, tells us that communities are extremely grateful for the support and the visit of the team. She also shares that people express concern because of the virus and the uncertainty of future regulations from the government. Felicia thinks it is very important to share information with the members of the communities and also look after their mental health.
La regional de CRIPDES, UCRES, también ha movilizado al equipo para repartir paquetes más modestos a 1000 familias de las comunidades en las que trabajan. Este apoyo lo han logrado dar gracias al financiamiento de ENTRE PUEBLOS, AIETI y UCRES mismo.
La presidenta de la región, Felicia Mijango, nos comenta que en las comunidades se muestran muy agradecidas por el apoyo y por la visita de las coordinaciones. También nos comparte que muchas personas sienten angustia por el virus y por la incertidumbre ante las disposiciones del gobierno. Felicia considera que es muy importante compartir información con las personas de las comunidades y también velar por su salud mental.
