Thanks for supporting our 2021 midyear fundraising
The entire USESSC team wants to thank you for your support to our 2021 midyear fundraising effort.
Thanks to you, we successfully raised $10,000 to support CRIPDES’ women’s program and $1,000 to support the TPS Alliance.
Your donations amounted to $14,000 dollars that have enabled us to contribute to the mobilization of participants to the TPS Convention called “Our lives are not temporary“. We invite you to stay tuned to learn about more ways to support the members of TPS Alliance. Although the TPS has been extended, people are still waiting for a legal path for citizenship and particular challenges remain unknown for many people, including lawmakers.
Your contribution will also enable us to support the Women’s program of CRIPDES. We’ll provide funds to hire a coordinator for one year. We expect that this will enable the organization to create more alliances and strengthen their much needed work.
If you recall, we were aiming for $18,000 to set a bail fund and help with USESSC’ operations, so we will be contacting you at the end of the year, especially because the COVID variants will very likely hinder our efforts to set up donations in 2022.
We will be asking you to share this information with your extended network so they are aware of the things we want to do to bring more social justice both in the U.S. and El Salvador.
