CRIPDES Update – COVID19

Our friends on the board of CRIPDES have informed us of the regional work they are doing during the forced quarantine decreed due to COVID19. All regions are monitoring the number of people that do not appear as beneficiaries of the $300 USD bonus promised by the government. They are contacting the government office (CENADE) to report such cases and looking for ways to support them as well.
The UCRES region is part of the Civil Protection Commission and, as such, they are promoting preventive measures.
The San Vicente region is trying to support through community groups and leaders. They keep monitoring them and sharing government measures through videos and whatsapp.
We will keep sharing updates during this situation.
Nuestras amistades en la junta directiva de CRIPDES nos informan del trabajo regional que se está haciendo durante la cuarentena decretada a raíz del COVID19. Todas las regiones están haciendo un monitoreo de las personas que no han salido beneficiadas con el bono de $300 dólares que ha prometido el gobierno. Se está contactando a CENADE para reportar los casos y se está buscando otras maneras de apoyarles.
La región de UCRES es parte de la Comisión de Protección Civil y, junto a sus integrantes, están promoviendo medidas preventivas.
La región de San Vicente está tratando de apoyar a través de grupos y líderes comunitarios. Se continua monitoreando y compartiendo medidas por whatsapp y videos.
