Las Anonas’ 28th anniversary

The community of Las Anonas de Santa Cruz (sistered with Philadelphia) celebrated its 28th anniversary of repopulation. Many things took place. Here’s a short summary:

May 1st – female football tournament with 8 different teams
May 2nd – Vigil
May 3rd – Mass with around 150 attendants
May 4th – male football tournament with 600 visitors and 24 teams competing. In the evening, a dance party.

The inhabitants end up their greeting by saying: “Brothers and sisters from Philadelphia, you are part of our community and you have sent your positive vibes with your prayers. Thank you very much. May God bless you today and always”
