Nueva junta en Teosinte

Not only Honduras held elections this past weekend, the community of Teosinte, in San Francisco Morazán, has elected a new board of directors. Accompanied by the mayor’s office and representation of the CCR, the electoral process was carried out, and it had the following results:

The election of community boards (or “ADESCOs”) at the local level guarantees the management of projects and initiatives that positively impact all inhabitants of the area. This will be key in the next year in which the municipal governments will have a smaller budget to support their projects and when the number of people migrating keeps increasing.
No solo Honduras realizó elecciones este fin de semana pasado, la comunidad de Teosinte, en San Francisco Morazán, ha elegido una nueva junta directiva. Acompañados por el síndico de la alcaldía y representación de la CCR, se realizó el proceso electoral que tuvo los siguientes resultados:

La elección de juntas directivas a nivel local garantiza la gestión de proyectos e iniciativas que impacten positivamente a todas las personas que ahí habitan. Esto será clave en el próximo año en el cual las alcaldías contarán con menor presupuesto para apoyar a su desarrollo y cuando el número de personas migrando sigue en aumento.
