Thanks to the support of AIETI, the women’s table of CRIPDES has been able to get together once again in the central office after two years. This meeting enabled them to analyze all the work that has been done in the regional offices during all this time, despite the lack of resources. Some of the work done includes: accompaniment of 14 women’s commites in the UCRES region; being part of the Munipal Roundtable for Gender in Tecoluca (San Vicente); supporting 25 women’s associations, working and educating on organic gardens and native seeds in Chalatenango or the meetings with the 5 networks of savings’ committees in CRIPDES Sur.

The group scheduled a follow-up meeting in which they will define an action plan for short and medium term.

Gracias al apoyo de AIETI, la mesa de mujeres de CRIPDES ha podido reunirse nuevamente en las oficinas centrales después de dos años. Esta reunión sirvió para hacer un análisis de todas las acciones que, a pesar de la falta de fondos, han seguido realizándose durante todo este tiempo en las regionales de CRIPDES; entre ellas, el mantenimiento de 14 comités de mujeres en la zona de UCRES; la participación en la Mesa Municipal de Género en Tecoluca (San Vicente); el apoyo a las 25 asociaciones de mujeres, el trabajo con los huertos caseros y la promoción de la semilla criolla, en Chalatenango; o las reuniones con las 5 redes de ahorro en CRIPDES Sur.

El grupo programó una siguiente reunión en la que definirán líneas de acción para corto y mediano plazo.
