Virtual Chat April 13th on the Human Rights Crisis in Post-Coup Honduras

Repression in Honduras has increased over the last month, with escalated violence against teachers, students and campesinos. Sister Cities and CRIPDES are dedicated to working in solidarity with the people of Honduras and educating folks in the U.S. about the human rights situation and the U.S. government's role in the coup and post-coup regime. As part of this campaign, we invite you to participate in our next virtual chat. Please join us Wednesday April 13th to hear from our special guest speaker, Estela Garcia, Regional Communications Coordinator for the Central America Program of the Lutheran World Federation. In addition to being an expert on Human Rights in El Salvador and Honduras, Garcia speaks English, so the virtual chat will be in English without any translation delays.
