Tony Saca and Ana Ligia de Saca – Preliminary Hearing

The District Attorney’s ofice requested today to the first civil chamber that former ARENA president Antonio Saca and his wife return 4,559,621.65 US Dollars that they have not been able to justify.

This money seems to have been laundered through their personal accounts and through their radio corporation SAMIX. (Source)

Ana Ligia de Saca had previously reached an agreement with the prosecution, but this was broken in May 2019 when she refused to return the money.

Tony Saca is currently in jail.
