December Delegation flier

Description:

YOIK is designed to be a training camp for young people in the US and El Salvador who are interested in being the catalysts for social change, giving them tools and practical knowledge about where to begin or how to continue organizing work in their communities and internationally.  The week-long camp also serves as a cultural exchange between Salvadoran and U.S. youth.  Ideal candidates for the camp are people between the ages of 17 and 35 living in cities with USESSC committee presence, listed below, with varying levels of activism experience: from just-interested-in-getting-started to seasoned activists.  At the end of the camp, participants will create action plans and be held accountable by Sister Cities staff and by each participant´s Sister Cities committee, doing activities in their communities and supporting the ongoing efforts of the sistering committee.  If you have financial limitations, please fill out the attached scholarship application.
