CRIPDES Regional Support

Regional projects promote development and growth of sistered communities as well as other communities in the region. We believe it is important to work through our regional CRIPDES partners in order to promote a solidarity model that respects the opinions of our Salvadoran partners and their vision for growth and development in the communities they work and live in.

Paying Promoter Salaries or Honorariums for members of 5 CRIPDES regional teams is an integral part of sistering. These promoters are the ones who carry out the various projects funded by Sister Cities and other organizations, as well as providing the constant accompaniment and assistance to community organizing efforts.

Some regions receive funding for other activities, such as regional sistering programs, community radio programs, youth organizing, leadership trainings, regional environmental campaigns, and regional women’s programs.
